VOLUNTEERS

The staff at the YCU would like to take the opportunity to recognize the many volunteers who gave their time to repaint our local Women's Shelter. Their hard work in making the shelter a "homier" place is greatly appreciated. Thank you to the students from USU, the NASW, Phi Alpha, and STEP. Thanks also to the volunteers from the Youth CIty Council. We also appreciate the donations from the generous staff at Work Force Services in Brigham City.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the area businesses for their generosity of donations. Thanks to ACE Hardware, Greer's Hardware, R&R Hardware, Dominoes and Subway in Tremonton. Thank you to Wal-Mart, Stock Building Supply, Beehive Pizza, Grist Mill, Pizza Hut and Smiths in Brigham City.

We would like to extend a special note of thanks to USU student intern, April Gerber. Without her hard work and perseverence none of this would have happened. April organized and coordinated this whole project. She personally oversaw all donations and volunteers. We thank her for her time and thoughtfulness.

Again, we thank everyone who helped with this project. Without the kindness of volunteers and donations from local businesses we would not be able to effectively serve the community.

Sincerely,

Penny Evans, YCU
